09 Jun Discrimination in Experiential Marketing
Many of the minority (EXPs) at the forefront who execute events often experience hidden discrimination and racism; I included. With the help of my panel of EXP’s and agency owners Eric and Tinslee Alder of The Grayscale Agency, Miles and Kaneika Bell-Brown of Incursion Marketing, and Joe Wroblewski of Assist Marketing, we were able to shed light on what was going on in society while bridging the gap in the experiential marketing industry. I would like to thank the team of EXPs and agencies that participated in the open discussions on discrimination and racism.
I am proud of the impact that WE made as a whole. Without the open dialogue, how can we begin the process of working towards eliminating the systematic practices which affect society?
We were able to have respectful, insightful, and thought-provoking conversations that addressed issues that mattered.
In case you missed the discussion on discrimination in the Experiential Marketing industry, you can watch it on my YouTube Channel below.
The work still has to be done to create industry-wide changes and solutions moving forward; however, I am grateful that we had individuals who were brave enough to start the conversation.
The EXP Elite FB Group is a dynamic platform created to provide industry resources, opportunities, and personal development for EXPs. While it continues to evolve, I want to thank all you for motivating me to stay true to my vision and who I am. The best is yet to come!
