09 Apr THE JAE DAVIS EXPERIENCE: Tour Life Chronicles- From the “Emerald City” to Portland, Oregon
WHAT A SPECIAL MOMENT TO VISIT WITH MY AUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS. My Aunt Barbara is the one who named me Jameela which is an Arabic name that means Beautiful. My mom always told me she was really keen on naming me and that it was something she just really wanted to do. Growing up, Auntie Barbara’s house was the fun place to be! She had a pool, she always made us feel loved, she cooked some amazing food, and we always had so much fun at her house. Family is so important, life is so short, and we have to really take the time to appreciate the small moments and the time we do have. Being here in Seattle allowed me to do that and I am SO THANKFUL for that chance.

Tour Stop…Portland, Oregon
We said goodbye to “Casa Nelson”, our wonderful AirBnb in Seattle, packed everything up and hit the road for our rainy drive to Portland. Once we arrived, to get things started we needed to get a few repairs done on “Muppet” our Home Chef van. We had to keep her running and looking smooth, as well as handle a few other routine things in order to get ourselves prepared for our next 3 days of events. Check out this weeks video as we begin our activation days here in Portland and share some tips along the way.
On top of my regular tour life responsibilities, I’ve been pretty busy with filming and launching my FIRST COURSE! Yep! I have created a course that teaches people how to obtain tour opportunities. It’s very exciting, but I’m gonna be honest, it’s tough for me being on camera, and getting everything out that I want to say. I tend to think faster than I can talk and it is a real struggle for me. I’m definitely not one of those people that does it once and is good to go. There are always multiple takes going on around here. If you are interested in learning a bit more about the course, just read below and I share a few more details.
NEXT WEEK, stay tuned to follow our adventures in LOS ANGELES, CA!
EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast Track Course
For those who are interested, here’s a little backstory on me and what this course is all about. I have started from the entry level position and have worked my way up to a consistent tour manager for the past 8 years. Over the years I have written a book, “You Do What? The Ultimate Experiential Marketing Guide” and launched the EXP Elite FB Group with my main motivation being to provide you with what you need to succeed as an EXP. Speaking with many EXPs at events and online I learned what they needed and wanted most. To my surprise, obtaining touring opportunities was the first thing almost every EXP asked me about.
SO…to answer all your questions about landing your first tour opportunity, I have created my premier online course, called EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast-Track. I put a lot of time, hard work, and dedication into developing this course and I know those who decide to dive in are going to learn so much!
Here’s the thing. I have decided to only open the course to a select few so that I can provide coaching throughout a six week period. But the good news is…course enrollment for EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast-Track is OPEN NOW! This course is only available for a limited time, and will close on 5/2/19. If you are reading this blog post in time, and if you’re serious about upping your EXP game and your income, it’s time to take the next step and go on tour!
If you are reading this blog and missed the deadline, don’t fret! I will be re-opening the course in 5 months. Feel free to join my EXP Elite FB Group and you can be sure to not miss out on the next enrollment period.
