RAIN RAIN GO AWAY, COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY! We had a great stay here in Portland, and finished out our activation days strong despite having to move inside due to the rain. But as T said in this weeks video, we couldn’t wait to get out of the clouds and into some SUNSHINE! Heading to 70 degrees and sunny California was just “what the doctor ordered”! Goodbye “Rose City” and hello Los Angeles!!

You’ll get insight into our travel experiences, what cities we visit, and of course everything that goes into successfully executing each event. Up next…….
Tour Stop…HOLLYWOOD, California!
Good ole L.A. traffic definitely greeted us with a vengeance, but we made it to our hotel safe and sound. First up on the agenda after the long road trip, Muppet and Black Hammer(our tour vehicles) got a full detail and are lookin good! Luckily, we have a few days off here in L.A. before we have to jump into our activation days. Of course there are always things to be done to prepare, but we did have the chance to explore a bit and check a few things off of our own personal agenda. One of those being, heading to the L.A. Angels baseball game! The Anaheim stadium is visit #18 for us of the 30 MLB stadiums. Slowly but surely we are making our way to visiting every one. Be sure to check out this weeks episode for the details!
Another incredible opportunity we had this week was the chance to go visit the memorial of Nipsey Hussle. The untimely death of entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hu$$le in L.A. has sparked a range of emotions both nationally and globally. Many have reached out in support, and Nipsey’s death has also prompted a uniting of two of the most prolific gangs in history. Born as Ermias Joseph Asghedom, Nipsey’s life and legacy impacted many, but, it also raises the question:
What three of Nipsey’s seven ownership principles can you apply as an Experiential Marketing professional? I wrote an entire blog post uncovering these three principles, feel free to check it out here if you want to read more.
Oftentimes, we get so caught up in the day-to-day issues of life that we do not take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and appreciate the simple blessings given to us. Nipsey’s unwavering effect on society has impacted many races and cultures. Whether you work in the Experiential Marketing industry or not, this is for certain, the passing of Nipsey Hussle is a reminder that it all starts with YOU. What legacy will you leave?
Comin up NEXT WEEK…I finally got my hair done YA’LL! Stay tuned to see the process, and to join us for our activation days here in L.A.!
EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast Track Course
For those who are interested, I wanted to make sure I share about my exciting course launch that I have going on right now! And in case you don’t know much about me yet, here is just a little bit of my story. I have started from the entry level position and have worked my way up to a consistent tour manager for the past 8 years. Over the years I have written a book, “You Do What? The Ultimate Experiential Marketing Guide” and launched the EXP Elite FB Group with my main motivation being to provide you with what you need to succeed as an EXP. Speaking with many EXPs at events and online I learned what they needed and wanted most. To my surprise, obtaining touring opportunities was the first thing almost every EXP asked me about.
SO…to answer all your questions about landing your first tour opportunity, I have created my premier online course, called EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast-Track. I put a lot of time, hard work, and dedication into developing this course and I know those who decide to dive in are going to learn so much!
Here’s the thing. I have decided to only open the course to a select few so that I can provide coaching throughout a six week period. But the good news is…course enrollment for EXP Level-Up: Tour Manager Fast-Track is OPEN NOW! This course is only available for a LIMITED TIME, and will close on 5/2/19. If you are reading this blog post in time, and if you’re serious about upping your EXP game and your income, it’s time to take the next step and go on tour!
If you are reading this blog and missed the deadline, DON’T FRET! I will be re-opening the course in 5 months. Feel free to join my EXP Elite FB Group and you can be sure to not miss out on the next enrollment period.
